HempFusion supports a healthy endocannabinoid system.
There is huge emerging interest in hemp derived cannabidiol (CBD). As you might imagine there is also a great deal of confusion. Our goal is to help you understand something about this issue and some of the distinctions in the marketplace.
Perhaps one of the most significant scientific discoveries of this decade is that our bodies naturally produce endocannabinoids, which communicate with receptors located all over our body concentrated in our brains, nervous system and organs. It is for this reason our ECS is known to regulate the communication of trillions of cells. These receptors emit signals that trigger different physiological responses. So far, the main receptors called CB1 and CB2 have been identified, which bind with endocannabinoids produced by our own body to promote homeostasis, keeping the body striving toward balance, even under stressful conditions. Here are a few of the things you should try to understand
- The endocannabinoid system: The is where the action takes place. Your body makes endocannabinoids as a normal part of human physiology.
- Phytocannabinoids: Plant based compounds that benefit the endocannabinoid system. They are not the same but similar to endocannabinoids.
- CBD is one of many phytocannabinoids. There are other plants beside hemp that contain other phytocannabinoids.
- Cannabidiol is not psychoactive. It does not make you high.
- Who makes the CBD that you take? If you care about quality, this is critical. Every company is unique in how they bring products to the marketplace.
- What is in the product that you are taking? You need to understand the dose and any other ingredients.
In this interview, Dr. Jason Mitchell will explain the ECS and he will discuss the unique approach of HempFusion family of products. HempFusion is the core CBD product. There are also versions for sleep, stress and digestion. These contain an additional nutrient for specific nutritional support. Whole Food Hemp Complex, the Sleep formula contains PharmaGABA™, the Stress formula contains organic Sensoril™, and the Digestive formula contains important probiotic bacteria using the MATrek™ 3-D probiotic delivery system, all three of which have been scientifically validated for their respective efficacy in supporting sleep, stress and digestion.
Our body has an intricate system of receptors located throughout it called the Endocannabinoids System (ECS). The ECS plays an integral role in the state of our well being, by helping to regulate the communication between cells in our central nervous system and throughout our bodies immune system. Scientists have known for years that the chemicals produced in our brain result in a wide array important physiological responses and how important it is to support healthy ECS function. Because the ECS is directly involved in so many interactions within the human body, it has been aptly referred to as the “central control panel” of the body and mind.
Supporting healthy ECS function is important. Simply stated, without healthy Endocannabinoid System function, we may not achieve an optimum balance. HempFusion, has tapped into nature’s wonderful sources of phytocannabinoids and has provided a safe and effective way to consume more of them! You may be surprised to find out that through our diets, we already consume phytocannabinoids. Phytocannabinoids are found in common foods like cloves, hops, black pepper fruit and plants like Echinacea. We can certainly eat more of these foods, but HempFusion makes it easy to supplement your daily diet with phytocannabinoids naturally derived from nutritional hemp. The NIH is one resource if you would like to explore some of the science of cannabidiol. The science continues to accrue because the benefits seem significant and the risk of side effects seems very low. Keep in mind that while plant compounds such as CBD are normal part of human physiology and should be considered nutrients not drugs. Nutrients nourish the body and aid in healthy normalization of structure and function.
