This is such an interesting and inspirational interview. This is a message of optimism for every parent of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Dr. Betul Hatipoglu’s son has autism. After exhausting all conventional medical options she was desperate to understand her child’s condition and what she could do. This is the story of her journey. Her success can potentially be yours.

Dr. Hatipoglu’s son was diagnosed with autism at age 18 months. Three years later she had exhausted the medical solutions without much success. As a desperate mother and as a physician she began her research for an alternative solution. Her research led her to understand that the endocannabinoid system has a lot to do with the balance between calm and excitement. We are now learning much more about the endocannabinoid system and it’s role in human health. We are also learning that there are numerous plants that may have an beneficial effects on the endocannabinoid system.

Our brains use GABA as a calming regulator and use Glutamate as an excitement regulator. The balance between calm and excited is in part regulated by the endocannabinoid system. Dr. Hatipoglu discovered that a certain passion flower extract was shown to exert a modulating effect of the endocannabinoid system balancing GABA and Glutamate. This eureka moment was the beginning of the development of Anandanol.

Anandanol is the formula that emerged from her research and collaboration with Pharmacist Randy Margrave. It includes the primary ingredient passion flower extract plus magnesium, CoQ10 and vitamin B6 as P5P. So Anandanol is a combination of these 4 ingredients. Anandanol received a US Patent in 2014.  Anandanol is the primary ingredient in Neural Balance.

That is the back story in this interview. The real story in this interview is the change in Dr. Hatipoglu’s son. She describes the challenges of a son with autism. You can feel the heartbreak of every parent whose precious child has some form of ASD. Then there is the moment of breakthrough. One week after beginning the passion flower extract, her son looked into her eyes and connected for the first time. This powerful moment is described eloquently by Dr. Hatipoglu. That moment led us to where we are today. Dr. Hatipoglu describes this personal journey.

Neural Balance has been reported to:

  • Reduce aggressive behavior,
  • Increase ability to focus
  • Decrease agitation
  • Promote sound sleep
  • Reduce anxiety
  • Increase happiness and well-being

I think this in one of those cases where the experience of mother’s who have used Neural Balance with there children. These are powerful testimonies of those who have seen the differences in there children. Even the smallest of success for their child is celebrated. When you understand how profoundly children can improve when their brains are properly nourished, you can’t help but be moved. In this interview you will Dr. Hatipoglu discusses her personal success and the success of a personal friend with their children. You can find more stories at the Neural Balance website and also on their Facebook page. There you can read the stories of parents who have seen profound changes in their children. Hearing of the success of others can give hope that this may be a solution and give confidence to try this particular product. Here is one of those testimonies:

“My son, Ethan, would have angry, crying outbursts and it was difficult to get him to complete homework. After only a week on Neural Balance the outbursts have stopped and he has been completing his math homework without wandering around. He’s definitely more calm and focused. My sister and brother-in-law even noticed a difference in him today. While at their house he was much more calm and easier to get along with. This stuff is amazing!” Natasha H

We need to be clear. We are not discussing this as a cure for ASD. Nutrition does not treat or cure disease including autism. This is using natural compounds to nourish the body and brain. The right nutrients taken consistently over time help the body to maintain and repair structure and function. What often amazes us all is the extent in which nutrition can make a difference. This is one of those cases where the changes can be dramatic and noticeable to everyone who knows the child.

Does your child suffer with any of the following: lack of focus, aggression, irregular sleep patterns, social anxiety and/or social withdrawal? These are common concerns for parents who children deal with Autism Spectrum Disorder sometimes referred to as Pervasive Developmental Disorder. If you are seeking a solution, I suggest you consider Neural Balance for two months. Then you can judge for yourself. Neural Balance is safe and drug free.

Let me suggest that Neural Balance is also useful for adults and anyone who deals with similar issues of anxiety, lack of focus and/or sleep challenges. You can try Neural Balance for a month or two and see what happens. This is your process of discovery. This is one of those cases where you will notice any obvious improvement.

Can this be taken by a 2 and a half year old? My son was showing signs for autism, after multiple tests and a year of me researching all natural ways I tapered him on pure Omega 3 fish oils 2,200 mg , no casein, gluten ,soy , added colors or sugars diet. My husband’s family has history of asbergers as well as he himself having ADHD. My grandmother and aunt had asbergers, mom had ADHD and I have ADHD with spd . Since this diet my husband myself and son have had amazing results, he’s just now starting to say words along with signing. I’m hoping this added into our regiment will be exactly what he needs to calm aggressive behaviors an focus more. Please please tell me it’s safe for him. I will also be discussing with his pediatrician.

As far as I know, this should be a safe product for a child. Please contact the company for more information. There are numerous reviews of parents who have had success. It is always a good idea to discuss with the doctor. Every child is unique.
It is clear that nourishing the brain has been beneficial for you all. This is a way to add more very specific nutrients.
You may want to try adding a probiotic. Good gut health is essential.

I have been listening to your pod cast on this site. I too had a child who was showing signs of autism. I remember thinking what is happening to my baby? This lead on to my discovery of how to heal him. It took a while, but my research and the ensuing therapies worked. I am not a Doctor. I am a mother and my son’s life is totally different to what it could have been.
