140 – The Clinical Benefits of Korean Ginseng – My Interview with Gregg Noll

Ginseng is known as the world’s most powerful adaptogenic herb.

Herbs & Plants Gregg NollHere is one of the most important points I can make after 40 years of experience with herbs and plants. There are huge differences in the marketplace. First there are the difference in raw plant material. There are four types of ginseng. Korean, American, Chinese and Japanese. Korean ginseng has by far the largest variety of the active ginsenosides. So the starting material makes a difference. Then there are differences in growing and handling. The best ginseng comes from plants that are five years old. As ginseng roots are processed, concentrates are created that have certain properties and constituents. The quality and effectiveness comes from the expertise of the companies that make them. There are huge differences all all steps of bringing herbs to market. Your success depends on discovering which companies make the best products. I’m here to help.

How do we know these compounds are effective? It is through clinical research and personal experience. I have personal experience with Il Hwa ginseng going back to the 1980’s when I was first introduced. I have been a fan ever since, even though it was not available in the U.S. for many years. I am glad to see it’s return and to see the emergence of the clinical work, detailing the benefits of ginseng and in particular Il Hwa ginseng. You can read about the clinical science at their website.

ILHWA is introducing GInST15 enzyme fermented ginseng, the most bio-available ginseng on the market. In fact, through a human clinical trial GinST15 demonstrated 15 times greater absorption over standard ginseng. This is a remarkable break though in ginseng science. Because of ILHWA’s scientific discovery through this patented fermentation process, ginseng can now be fully absorbed by all.

Try good health food store. You can also consider American Ginseng which is highly prized in China and Japan.

A friend introduced me to ILHWA’S Korean Panax Ginseng a couple of months ago. It has been a helpful, positive factor in balancing my energy and focus.
