CBD helps patients with stress, anxiety and mood issues.
In this interview Dr. Aimée Shunney discusses the benefits of CBD for her patients. Because she deals with patients who are seeking natural and complementary support for their health challenges, Dr. Shunney is able to see the results her patients experience in real world settings. That’s why I was looking forward to this interview. There is a great deal of interest in CBD and you can get a great overview by listening to the various experts that I have interviewed. Here is the link to those interviews.
In our previous interview with Dr. Shunney we discussed CBD and sleep support. In this interview we will consider stress and adrenal support with CBD. Stress and adrenal health are common problems for many. The challenge is to find what works for each of us as individuals. There are many nutrients that have been associated with stress, mood and anxiety support. Some of these nutrients are essential and you need to make sure that your nutritional needs are being met. There are also lifestyle choices that need to be evaluated.
To learn more about the nutrients for brain support check out the many interviews here on HealthQuestPodcast.com. Go to the TAG INDEX and check out the various keywords such as stress, anxiety, mood, brain support, adrenal etc. The more you learn about your health and your options the better choices you can make. Your health care is a process of discovery and you are in charge of setting your course. The best program is the one that works best for you.
In many ways this is more a discussion about the endocannabinoid system (ECS) and how CBD affects the ECS. The ECS is a relatively new discovery and a ripe area for research. The emerging consensus of opinion is that the ECS is the master regulatory system and that cellular communication from the ECS to the other various systems in the body including the nervous, hormonal and immune systems are critical for overall health and balance. It may be that many of the nutrients that we use for stress and adrenal health may exert some of their effects on the ECS and that triggers downstream beneficial effects as well. There is a great deal of interest and research on the ECS and how to nourish this system. Dr. Shunney discusses her experience with patients dealing with stress, anxiety and adrenal fatigue.
One thing that is clear from these interviews interviews with the experts is that CBD is very safe and is effective for many consumers. It is safe enough for self medicating for stress, anxiety and mood issues. Start with a basic dosage and see how CBD affects you. Then you can experiment and adjust as needed. Just try to understand your own issues and the products you choose to use. If you are being treated by a doctor and/or taking medications please discuss this with your health care provider prior to experimenting with CBD.
Perhaps one of the biggest challenges you will have as a consumer is knowing which CBD products you can trust. There are perhaps hundreds of CBD products for sale in the marketplace and I would not personally use most of them. It’s not because the products are bad, (though there are bad products in the marketplace) it’s because most of these companies have just popped up to take advantage of the exploding interest in CBD. I can tell you that most of these companies do not make their own product and many that do make their own products are offshoots of marijuana grow operations. Offshoot companies do not have the background or technical expertise that should be required. Good companies do many things to be responsible to their customers. The best companies want you to know what they do to create the best of class products. We discussed many of those in previous interviews and if it’s important to you to understand these distinctions you should listen to the interviews on CV Sciences Plus CBD Oil.
Our interview with Dr. Shunney serves two important purposes. First, I want to know what does this naturopathic doctor think of CBD? What is her experience with patients? Secondly, I wanted to know why she uses Plus CBD Oil from CV Sciences? These are important questions. Because I understand the distinctions that exist in today’s nutrition marketplace, it is important that I learn which companies can be trusted so I can pass that on to my listeners. I turn to others that I know can be trusted. This is how we all move forward these days. There is a term called “distributed trust”. We all build networks that we trust. With something new like CBD we must all determine who are the responsible companies. When someone like Dr. Shunney speaks, I listen. I trust her experience and integrity. Dr. Shunney goes into some detail as to why she trusts and works with CV Sciences.
