354 – Why Many Doctors Are Wrong About Probiotics

In this interview with Ross Pelton (the Natural Pharmacist) we are going to explore a recent piece published in the prestigious Journal of The American Medical Association (JAMA) which effectively disparages the entire probiotic industry. This is a perfect example of the collusion of the medical industry to first disparage an entire segment of the nutritional industry and then attempt to turn those products into drugs. This article discourages practitioners from recommending conventional probiotics. Doctors trust medical journals to keep them informed and when articles like this are published by JAMA, doctors assume it must be true. It is poorly placed trust.

Mark discusses the benefits of Cordyceps from both the historical story as well as current scientific research. Remember that we are discussing the nutritional benefits of Cordyceps. Our discussion of scientific research does not constitute a medical claim.
“Found in pristine high altitude locations in Nepal and China, Cordyceps mushrooms are used in China to promote stamina, endurance and sex drive.* Cordyceps has gained much attention in the West since the early 1990’s, when Chinese track athletes shattered world records and revealed that Cordyceps was an important part of their training regimen. Since that time Cordyceps has been embraced by a growing number of endurance athletes worldwide. 347 – How to Choose a Quality CBD Product

In this interview with Dr. Jason Mitchell we will discuss the challenge that consumers face when shopping for a CBD product. Fortunately there are numerous quality oriented companies that produce high quality CBD products. Unfortunately there are many more companies that are questionable on any number of criteria. How can a customer identify good products from reputable companies? The only solution I know is to examine each company carefully. This is not an easy thing to do for the average customer. That’s one of the reason we do that for you here at HealthQuestPodcast.com. In this interview we will take a closer look at Hemp Fusion. Dr. Mitchell discusses in detail the Hemp Fusion process. This is one of the quality companies that we have profiled for you.

344 – Nutritional Support for the Keto Diet

In this interview Dr. Audrey Ross discusses the Keto diet. The Keto diet is very popular and many people are losing weight. It is similar to the Atkins diet and both are considered low-carbohydrate diets. There are some significant nutritional challenges for those following the Keto Diet. A strict Keto Diet is not recommended as a long term strategy because of potential negative health consequences. Of course every long term dietary model should have better health as one of the main goals. So in order to lose weight and maintain a good nutritional balance while on Keto requires that we identify the nutritional challenges. Dr. Ross does that for us in this interview.
